How to add a watermark to a saved video on Android
Use Rapixa to put a date, time, location or logo on a video already stored on your phone. A watermark can identify the project or site while the clip shows a walkthrough, an inspection or the progress of a job.
Watermark a video already on your phone
- Open the video watermark feature and select a supported video from your phone.
- Choose the watermark information you want: date, time, location, notes or logo.
- Change the date, time and location as needed, and enter a short project or work description.
- Adjust the size and position. Preview the video to make sure the watermark does not cover important moving details.
- Export a new video, then play the saved result to check both the video and the watermark.
Which videos can I import?
Imported videos must be no longer than 30 minutes and use a format your device supports. For a longer video, use a video editor to trim the section you need before importing it into Rapixa.
For site visits and work reports
Use a short project name and a clear location to make a clip easier to identify. Put longer explanations in the report itself rather than filling the video with text. A company logo is useful when the video will be shared outside your immediate team.
Check more than the first frame
The background changes as the camera moves. Text that is clear in one frame may be hard to read in another. Check a few parts of the clip and choose a position that keeps the subject and watermark visible throughout.
Recording a new video
You can also record directly in Rapixa with a watermark, with recordings up to 30 minutes. Set and preview the information before recording. For an existing clip, use the import-and-export workflow above so you can keep the original video.
